Best Films Of . . .

Posted on 9th January 2011 by 8-Bit Chris

with the new year upon us i thought i’d give you lucky people a run down of the best films of 2011. Just remember now this is based purely on my own personal tastes and opinions & this year i’m not going for any artsy crap just film that i liked.

So here we go

#5 : Scott Pilgrim Vs the world . This is how you make a computer game movie. If you’ve seen it you’ll understand what i mean.

#4 : Kick Ass . What can i say but fantastic. Even thought hit girl steals the show its still magnificent.

#3 : Predators . finally a predator film us fans deserve. It takes it back to basics. Any one who’s a fan or loves sci-fi should see this.

#2 : The Expendables. yeah , yeah , yeah. I know what your thinking. But i grew up on 80′s action film like commando, red heat , predator, robocop etc. So for stalone to make a back to basics action film like they were made back in the day was very ballsy. And for me , it worked.

And finally the top spot , what else but . . .

#1 : Inception. Need i say more? Well I pretty much creamed my pants when i saw the dark knight, and thought ‘theres no way Nolan’s gonna top this’ , and he actually went and did it. Not only is the plot, character development, acting, cast, and visuals amazing. But this is what sci-fi is about. Christopher Nolan, i salute you.
